My little girl

She is so much like me we sometimes find it hard to reach agreement. She has my attitude which is not all bad but can be difficult at times. I look at her and see an innocent little girl who will one day grow up and have to face life and reality. I know your life is what you make it but I wish I could guarantee her all will always be okay. I wish I could protect her from every heartbreak and every embarrassment but I know this will only build her character. I know if she stays as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside she will have it made.This world can sometimes be cruel to women but hopefully by the time she is older all will be equal. Everyone falls down what matters is how you get back up. I hope she always knows a woman can do anything a man can do, maybe even better.I will be sure to teach her it's ok to make mistakes as long as she learns from them. It's hard to believe one day my little girl will be grown, although she might not want me around all the time, I hope she always remembers the things I instilled in her when she was just a little girl.
